Platinum Sports San Antonio

Founded in July 2009, Platinum Sports San Antonio, LLC fosters athletic competition in San Antonio and nearby areas.  We have been granted 501(c)(4) non-profit status with the IRS.  As a relatively new organization, our primary focus is to promote the sport of volleyball through various tournaments,clinics, open play, and coaching/training.  Our start-up plan is to host volleyball tournaments for adults throughout the year at various San Antonio locations.  Our long-term goals are: to grow into a leader supporting the volleyball sports competition arena, to reach out to include other sports and youth activities, and to continue to foster athletic competition.

Our primary goal is to foster athletic competition.  One of the primary ways of doing this is by hosting volleyball tournaments and clinics which are open to the public.  We will also offer scholarships to athletes beginning in 2010. Platinum Sports San Antonio will also give back to the community by selecting a charity of which we will donate a portion of proceeds towards their cause.  The charity selected for 2009 & 2010 is Operation Military Embrace.

Brenda Crable is the Clinic Director for Platinum Sports San Antonio.  She has been coaching the sport of volleyball for over nine years and playing volleyball in the community for over 20 years. She is in her fifth year as the Director of the San Antonio Lightning Youth Volleyball Club. 

Anita Huddleston is the Tournament Director for Platinum Sports San Antonio.  She has been actively involved in organizing and playing volleyball in the San Antonio community for over 14 years.  She has been hosting and coordinating adult volleyball tournaments for over four years.
